Agent Storybook is a product of Sum Technologies, LLC ("Sum Technologies," "we," "us," or "our"). We provide a platform that enables real estate agents to create personalized digital transaction microsites — called Storybooks — for their clients.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through our platform at agentstotybook.ai and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
We collect information in two ways: information you provide directly, and information collected automatically when you use the Service.

Agent Storybook requests access to your Gmail account solely to send Storybook delivery emails on your behalf — from your own email address to your clients. We do not read, store, index, or analyze any of your existing emails, contacts, or inbox data.
When you connect your Gmail account, Agent Storybook requests only the gmail.send permission scope. This is the narrowest scope available and grants us the ability to send emails as you — nothing more.

You may disconnect Gmail at any time from your account settings page. Disconnecting immediately revokes our access.
Our use of Google user data is limited to the purposes described in this policy and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to serve third-party advertisements.
Storybook content, account data, and OAuth tokens are stored in Upstash Redis, a managed cloud database with encryption at rest and in transit. Our platform is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure in the United States.
Photos uploaded for cover art generation are processed by OpenAI's API and are subject to OpenAI's data retention policies. We do not retain uploaded photos on our own servers beyond the duration of the generation request.
Payment data is processed and stored by Stripe. We store only a Stripe customer ID to associate your account with your subscription — no card numbers or full payment details are stored by Agent Storybook.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the Service:
Each provider is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Sum Technologies or its users.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You may also request that we restrict or stop processing your data in certain circumstances.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under GDPR. If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion.
Agent Storybook is intended for use by real estate professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, where the changes are significant, notify you by email or through the platform. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
